
The District Officer of Ghana Enterprise Agency, Evander Osei in a meeting indicated that the GEA is set to provide entrepreneurship training to 50,000 youths and support a number of them with start-up grants under the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project.
“This programme will be providing entrepreneurship training to 50,000 youths who have the potential to start a business, as well as support a number of them with start-up grants under the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, which is part of the first phase,” he said.
He made this known on Monday this week, at the launch of the YouStart District Entrepreneurship programme in Diaso, and to officially indicate readiness to provide backstopping to businesses on filling the YouStart application portal, which will be open for 6 weeks aimed at providing financial support to potential beneficiaries in the District
