The Minerals Development Fund was established by the Government of Ghana to create projects funding opportunity to mining districts and mining communities across the country. From 2018 when the Upper Denkyira West District begun accessing the facility, it has been able to undertake quite a number of projects which range from economic to security to ICT amongst others. Government in its bid to evaluate the impact of the MDF has prepared a documentary to showcase the various development undertaken with the fund. This video sheds more light on it.
